The Pula depreciated against the British pound (-3.8 percent); euro (-1.4 percent) and Chinese renminbi (-0.5 percent) but appreciated against the Japanese yen (1.6 percent); US dollar (0.8 percent) and rand (0.5 percent), over the one-month period to October 2019. However, in the twelve months to October 2019, the Pula depreciated against the Japanese yen (-5.0 percent); British pound (-2.6 percent); US dollar (-1.1 percent) and Chinese renminbi (-0.2 percent) but appreciated against the rand (1.6 percent) and euro (0.5 percent).
