The Pula appreciated against the rand (2.2 percent), but depreciated against SDR currencies at the end of February 2019. It depreciated against the pound sterling (3.4 percent); Chinese renminbi (2.4 percent); US dollar (2 percent); euro (1 percent) and Japanese yen (0.2 percent). In the twelve months to February 2019, the Pula appreciated against the rand (7.7 percent) but depreciated against the US dollar (9.4 percent); Japanese yen (6.4 percent); pound sterling (5.6 percent); Chinese renminbi (4.4 percent) and euro (2.8 percent).
