The Pula depreciated against the US dollar by 2.5 percent

The Pula depreciated against the US dollar (2.5 percent), Chinese renminbi (2.0 percent), euro (0.9 percent), pound sterling (0.3 percent), and Japanese yen (0.1 percent), but appreciated against the rand (1.9 percent) in April 2018. In the twelve months to April 2018, the Pula appreciated against the US dollar (6.7 percent) and Japanese yen (4.8 percent) while depreciating against the euro (4.4 percent), Chinese renminbi (2.3 percent) and rand (1.5 percent).
