The Pula depreciated against the Chinese yuan (2.3 percent), US dollar (1.9 percent), yen (1.6 percent), euro (0.7 percent) and pound sterling (0.4 percent) but appreciated against the rand (1.8 percent) in October. In the twelve months to October 2017, the Pula appreciated against the yen (8.6 percent), rand (2.8 percent) and US dollar (0.7 percent) while depreciating against the pound sterling (7.2 percent), euro (5.2 percent) and Chinese yuan (1.5 percent).
