The Pula depreciated against the pound sterling (5.4 percent), US dollar (1.7 percent), euro (1.1 percent), and Chinese yuan (1.0 percent) but appreciated against the rand (2.0 percent) and yen (0.2 percent), in September. In the twelve months to September 2017, the Pula appreciated against the yen (12.7 percent), rand (1.3 percent) and US dollar (0.6 percent) while depreciating against the pound sterling (2.3 percent) and euro (4.3 percent).
