A summary of the Business Expectations Survey (BES) conducted by the Bank of Botswana between March and April 2017 is now available on the Bank’s website. This covers expectations in the business community of prevailing economic conditions up to June 2018. While the survey provides useful information concerning current perceptions of economic climate among the business community, users are advised that the BES is subject to inevitable errors associated with small samples. As such, results should be interpreted with due caution.
