The Pula appreciated against the yen (1.5 percent), euro (3.5 percent), US dollar (4.1 percent) and the pound (4.7 percent) while depreciating against the rand (3.5 percent) in September. On an annual basis (twelve months to September 2016), the Pula appreciated against the US dollar (2.6 percent), euro (3.2 percent) and the pound (19.5 percent) but depreciated against the rand (2.5 percent) and the yen (13.5 percent).
