The Pula appreciated against the pound (0.6 percent), euro (2.2 percent) and the US dollar (2.7 percent) while depreciating against the yen (1.7 percent) and the rand (1.9 percent) in April. On an annual basis (twelve months to April 2016), the Pula depreciated against the pound (3.6 percent), dollar (8.4 percent), euro (10.7 percent) and the yen (17.1 percent) but appreciated against the rand (10.5 percent).
