The Pula appreciated against the rand (4.4 percent) while depreciating against the pound (2.0 percent), US dollar (3.3 percent), yen (5.0 percent) and the euro (6.3 percent) in December. On an annual basis (twelve months to December 2015), the Pula depreciated against the euro (5.9 percent), pound (11.1 percent), yen (14.8 percent) and the dollar (15.3 percent) but appreciated against the rand (13.6 percent).
