The Pula appreciated against the rand (0.1 percent) and the US dollar (0.2 percent) while depreciating against the pound (0.9 percent), yen and the euro (0.2 percent, respectively) in April. On an annual basis (twelve months to April 2014), the Pula depreciated against the pound (14.9 percent), euro (12.4 percent), US dollar (7.6 percent) and the yen (3.2 percent), while appreciating against the rand (8.7 percent).
