The Pula appreciated against the rand (1.2 percent) and the yen (1.4 percent) while depreciating against the US dollar (1.1 percent), pound (1.8 percent) and the euro (2.3 percent) in December. On an annual basis (twelve months to December 2013), the Pula depreciated against the euro (14.7 percent), pound (12.6 percent) and the US dollar (10.8 percent) while appreciating against the rand (9.7 percent) and the yen (8.8 percent).
