The Pula appreciated against the yen (2.9 percent), US dollar (2.4 percent) and euro (0.6 percent) while depreciating against the pound (1.4 percent) and the rand (1.1 percent) in September. On an annual basis (twelve months to September 2013), the Pula depreciated against the euro (14.1 percent), US dollar (10.5 percent), and the pound (9.6 percent) while it appreciated against the yen (14.0 percent) and the rand (8.5 percent).
