The domestic companies index (DCI) fell by 1.24 percent during the week ending August 16, closing at 8 465.47 points from 8 572.11 points the previous week. For the year-to-date, the index has risen by 12.72 percent, while the foreign companies index declined by 1.41 percent. A total of 5.6 million securities valued at P14.9 were traded during the week.
