The domestic companies index (DCI) gained 0.97 percent during the week ending April 19, closing at 8 627.57 points from 8 545.10 the previous week. For the year-to-date, the index has risen by 14.88 percent, while the foreign companies index declined by 0.94 percent. A total of 7 506 520 securities valued at P29.7 million were traded during the week.
