In February, the Pula appreciated against the British pound (4.7 percent), euro (3.6 percent), yen (1.9 percent) and the (US dollar 0.4 percent) while depreciating against the rand (1.8 percent). On an annual basis (twelve months to February 2013), the Pula depreciated against the US dollar (11.1 percent), euro (9.0 percent) and the pound (6.7 percent) while it appreciated against the rand (5.2 percent) and the yen (2.1 percent).
