In September, the Pula depreciated against the euro (1.1 percent), British pound and the rand (0.6 percent), while appreciated against US dollar (2.4 percent) and Japanese yen (1.2 percent). On an annual basis (twelve months to September 2012), the Pula depreciated against all the currencies. It depreciated against the pound (9.0 percent), US dollar (5.3 percent), yen (4.2 percent), rand (0.5 percent) and the euro (0.3 percent), respectively.
