Standard & Poor’s (S&P) have announced Botswana’s 2012 sovereign credit ratings, which was retained at ‘A-’ and ‘A-2’ for the long and short terms, respectively. The 2012 ratings are supported by the strong government balance sheet, well managed economy and a long record of political stability.
