In April, the Pula depreciated against the yen (2.6 percent), British pound (2.2 percent), and the US dollar (0.4 percent). It appreciated against the euro (0.4 percent) while it remained unchanged against the rand. On an annual basis (twelve months to April 2012), the Pula depreciated against the yen (14.4 percent), US dollar (12.8 percent), pound (10.9 percent) and the euro (2.5 percent), while it appreciated against the rand (2.0 percent).
