The Domestic Company Index (DCI) closed the week ending October 7 at 7 123.30 points, down by 23.64 points (0.33 percent) from 7 146.94 points the previous week. This was despite good performances by some listed companies as sentiment weakened elsewhere in the market. For the year to date, the index has risen by 11.08 percent. The Foreign Companies Index (FCI) closed the week at 1 850.09 points. A total of 3.7 million securities valued at P9.9 million were traded during the week.
