In June, the Pula depreciated against the rand (0.8 percent) and the yen (0.4 percent) while it appreciated against the euro (0.2 percent), US dollar (0.9 percent) and the British pound (3.6 percent). On an annual basis (twelve months to June 2011), the Pula depreciated against the euro (8.7 percent), the rand (4.0 percent) and yen (1.8 percent), while it appreciated against the US dollar (8.1 percent) and pound (1.0 percent).
