The summary of the Business Expecations Survey (BES) conducted by the Bank of Botswana in March and April 2011, is now available on the Bank’s website. This covers expectations in the business community of prevailing econmic conditions up to the middle of 2012. The next round of the survey is scheduled for September 2011. While the survey provides useful information concerning current perceptions of the  economic climate among the local business community, users are advised that the BES  is subject to the inevitable errors associated with small samples. As such, the results should be interpreted with due caution.
