According to estimates published by the Central Statistics Office (CSO), gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 7.2 percent during 2010, compared the revised estimate of –4.9 percent in 2009. Growth excluding the mining sector was 7.6 percent, compared to 5.1 percent in 2009.
