On February 7, the 2011 Budget Speech was presented to the National Assembly by Mr O. K. Matambo, the Minister of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP). As well as reporting on the current state of the domestic economy, the speech outlined budget proposals for the 2011/12 financial year together with  related policy initiatives and legislative revisions.
