The domestic market continued its rally

The Domestic Company Index (DCI) closed the week ending January 21 at 6 742.95 points, up by 132.79 points (2.01 percent) from 6 610.16 points the previous week. For the year to date, the index has risen by 5.15 percent. On the other hand, the Foreign Companies Index (FCI) was nearly flat at 1 744.12 points and rose by 4.19 percent for the year to date. A total of 2 269 235 securities were traded for a turnover of P4 947 666.74.
