The market start to inch up

The Domestic Company Index (DCI) closed the week ending January 7 at 6 470.65 points, up by 57.71 points (0.90 percent) from 6 412.94 points the previous week. For the year to date, the index has risen by 0.9 percent. On the other hand, the Foreign Companies Index (FCI) was flat at 1 674.02 points and is up 0.01 percent for the year to date. A total of 12 864 707 securities were traded, valued at P24 104 329.40
