The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has announced to the conclusion of the 2010 Article IV Consultation with Botswana. The outcome of the discussions is summarised in the Public Information Notice released by the IMF. Overall the IMF has endorsed the macroeconomic policies adopted by the Botswana authorities in the context of the gradual recovery from the recent global economic recession.
