The movement of Pula against major trading partner currencies was mixed at the end of February 2008. The Pula depreciated against the pound (0.1 percent) and the rand (1.5 percent) while it appreciated against the yen (9.4 percent), US dollar (0.1 percent) and the euro (1.5 percent). On an annual basis the Pula depreciated against the yen (24.9 percent), US dollar (19.5 percent) and the euro (4.0 percent).
