During September, the Pula continued to appreciate against most major trading currencies, rising against the US dollar (3.5 percent),the euro (1.0 percent), the pound (5.4 percent) and the yen (0.4 percent). However, it depreciated against the rand (1.9 percent). On an annual basis, the Pula depreciated against the yen (12.3 percent) and the rand (5.8 percent), while it appreciated against the pound (18.7 percent), US dollar (3.6 percent) and the euro (2.4 percent).
