During October, the Pula depreciated against the pound (6.3 percent, euro (4.0 percent), US dollar (2.6 percent) and the yen (1.6 percent) while it appreciated against the rand (1.9 percent). On an annual basis the Pula appreciated against the US dollar (17.2 percent), pound (15.5percent), yen (9.2 percent) and the euro (0.9 percent) but depreciated against the rand (10.1 percent).
